Leysop EM550, 50mm Aperture KD*P Pockels Cell
For this type of large aperture Pockels Cell we have two different types of drivers. Both have a risetime of about 4 to 4.5 nsec. One has a falltime of 6nsec while the other one has a falltime of about 15nsec.
Both drivers are housed in the same EMC shielded enclosure to minimize electrical interference with the experiment. The Pockels Cell will be mounted inside the housing on a four or five-axis alignment platform for perfect alignment. The Beamheight is 3 inches. Clear aperture is 50mm.
The left oscilloscope trace below shows the measurement for the driver with two fast transitions. The right oscilloscope trace below shows the measurement for the driver with the slow falling edge.
Both measurements were done with a single-pass setup with a photodiode of risetime 1nsec.
Parameters: 1064nm, 8.5kV, time difference of On/Off triggers 40nsec.
